Back in the Fall of 2004 I stumbled upon a javascript method called XMLHttpRequest() after researching a project. I thought it was cutting edge and could be used in a really useful way. I registered the domain soon after on January 13, 2005. A few weeks later on February 8, 2005 - google maps came out. A few days later (February 18, 2005), AJAX was coined. At first I wanted to use the domain to report/blog on AJAX news. But I got lazy got too busy and soon - many sites reported on the trends of AJAX and did an awesome job (ajaxian.com). I thought a good use for this site would be to aggregate news on everything XMLHttpRequest, AJAX, css, web2.0, dhtml and javascript. Enjoy your one stop shop.
